Children are constantly inspired by the world around them, ready to learn and grow through play and interactive experiences.

With this in mind, inspired by the needs and wishes of the youngest, we started a project “Sweet World” which combines entertainment and education for children from 4 to 12 years old. This independent project is the result of many years of experience and cooperation with various shopping centres. First, we had to discover how to attract the attention of both, children and their parents and create an area where they can freely express themselves, develop and have fun? Then we realized – why not create our own world, just as children see it?

Sweets have always been a universal symbol of joy for children, we decided to put them in the center of this fantastic project. In the heart of the Big Shopping Center in Nova Pazova, a magical scenography was set up with oversized doughnuts, chocolates, ice cream and cakes. They called the attention of all visitors. Although “Sweet World” is all about sweet things, it’s not just about enjoying the treats. This project bears a significant educational value. Through interactive games and brain teasers, children are encouraged to develop their motor skills, logical thinking, and social skills.

Our cook and animator taught the children how to prepare delicious cakes, tarts, and other
sweets, revealing secrets from the world of culinary magic. Children felt like real little pastry chefs. Everyone wore uniforms consisting of aprons and gastronomic caps. Delighted, the children gathered around a large blackboard where the leader of the cooking workshop illustrated, through a story, how to
make doughnuts, macaroons, strawberry ice cream, fruit muffins and many other sweets. Learning turned into an adventure through every step of the candy making process.

Equally interesting, workshop “Find the right donut” followed. Divided into teams, children had to find the right donut out of 27 possible combinations based on the given flavours, toppings and crumbs they chose and pin it on the stand. Children also enjoyed a memory game and putting together puzzles that included elements of sweet treats. A wheel of fortune was especially interesting because they could win sweet prizes. In this way, children not only develop their culinary abilities, but also develop the teamwork skills, precision, and creativity. For the grand finale we organized a “Piñata show” This moment everyone was waiting for. That moment of excitement when children break the piñata, releasing a bunch of delicious treats. Besides the sweet catch from the piñata, the children also took away a
priceless experience that will remain in their memories for a long time.

This project reminds us of the importance of creating memories and sharing this joy with those around us. At the end of the day, the sweetest experiences are the ones you remember.
